Even so, you can change the appearance of your data and other worksheet values to make them easier to understand. In this movie, I will show you how to change the appearance of your text, cell backgrounds, and cell borders. This worksheet contains sales data for the years 2010 through 2015 and it's broken down by month. What I'd like to do is add some formatting to make it easier to distinguish the actual numbers in the body of the worksheet from the headings that surround it. Among other changes, I can change the font, the size of the text, and also whether the text is bold faced, has color behind it, and so on.
